L.A. Sour
Ingredients
0.75 oz - Lemon Juice
0.5 oz - Rich Black Pepper Simple Syrup*
Bar Spoon - Fetzer Cabernet Sauvignon
Thyme Sprig
Directions
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Using a bar spoon, carefully layer a 0.5 oz Fetzer Cabernet Sauvignon “float” on top of the strained cocktail.
Garnish with a fresh thyme sprig.
Rich Black Pepper Simple Syrup
2 Cups - Cane Sugar
1 Cup - Water
1 Teaspoon - Whole Black Peppercorns
Lightly toast peppercorns in a saute pan for 2 minutes.
Combine other ingredients into the saute pan and heat for 10 minutes, or until the cane sugar has dissolved.
Strain and store in an airtight container in a refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
