Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until chilled.

  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

  3. Using a bar spoon, carefully layer a 0.5 oz Fetzer Cabernet Sauvignon “float” on top of the strained cocktail.

  4. Garnish with a fresh thyme sprig.


Rich Black Pepper Simple Syrup

  • 2 Cups - Cane Sugar

  • 1 Cup - Water

  • 1 Teaspoon - Whole Black Peppercorns

  1. Lightly toast peppercorns in a saute pan for 2 minutes.

  2. Combine other ingredients into the saute pan and heat for 10 minutes, or until the cane sugar has dissolved.

  3. Strain and store in an airtight container in a refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
